EXPLORING TECHNOLOGY- Modular |
This course allows students to learn basic technological concepts through a computer-based lab. Each station or module has hands-on activities used to explore technology concepts. Core concepts in math, science and language arts are integrated in each module. Module selections include: Aerospace, Communications, Construction and CAD, Engineering Structures, Graphic Design, Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanisms, Multimedia Basics, Power and Energy, and Road Transportation. |

Sixth Grade students are given an introduction to career areas in both technology and family and consumer sciences. They will explore various careers and develop skills necessary for success. These skills include time management, study tips and organization techniques. |
